FAQ & policies

Clear expectations make better work possible.

These answers explain the client journey, booking process, and professional boundaries.

What should I expect from a session?

A short conversation establishes your priority, relevant comfort needs, and the amount of time available. The exact hands-on approach is discussed directly and may change based on what is appropriate that day.

Which session length should I choose?

Good Therapy (30 minutes) is best for one focused priority. Better Therapy (60 minutes) allows broader context. Greater (120 minutes) provides the most complete, unhurried format.

How do home-office appointments work?

Local appointments are booked through Setmore. The home office serves the Harlingen and Rio Grande Valley area; the exact private address is provided only to confirmed clients.

How do travel requests work?

Submit your city and basic scheduling preferences through the travel form. The request is grouped by location. It is not a booking, does not guarantee a visit, and does not require a deposit or payment.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing and follow the preparation details provided for your specific appointment. Professional draping, communication, consent, and boundaries apply throughout every session.

Should I include my medical history in the travel form?

No. The travel and contact forms are lead forms only. Do not submit diagnoses, medical history, insurance details, payment information, or sensitive health information.

Can massage or bodywork diagnose or cure a condition?

No. Massage and bodywork do not diagnose disease, prescribe medical treatment, or guarantee a result. Seek evaluation from an appropriately qualified medical professional for new, severe, unexplained, or urgent symptoms.

When might medical clearance be appropriate?

Clearance may be appropriate after surgery or with certain acute symptoms, cardiovascular concerns, clotting risks, infections, complex medical conditions, pregnancy concerns, or when another treating professional has placed restrictions on activity.

What is the home-office booking and deposit policy?

Greater Therapeutics requires a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the total appointment cost at the time of booking. This policy helps improve scheduling efficiency and reduce no-shows. Complete cancellation and rescheduling terms are available on the official booking page.

How will Greater Therapeutics contact me?

For a request you submit, Greater Therapeutics may respond by email or text using the contact details and consent you provide. You may opt out of nonessential communication at any time.

Professional boundary

When in doubt, ask before booking.

Greater Therapeutics can clarify the booking process and general scope, but cannot evaluate urgent symptoms through a website form. For an emergency, contact emergency services. For medical questions, speak with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
